“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
-Carl Rogers
Connecting with people, giving them time that is all theirs; a space to be heard and understood without judgment, but with compassion and guidance is my passion. I am former teacher and family resource specialist. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Family Service, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. I belong to the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and Psi Chi Psychology National Honor Society. I hold AAMFT certifications in Substance Abuse Therapy and LGBTQIA Affirmative Therapy; I also have certification in Pet Grief Counseling. My passion and focus is working with issues unique to women and gender equality, phase of life changes, anxiety management, and grief and loss. My 2019/2020 adventures include AAMFT Approved Supervision training, and 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher training. I connect to my joyful spirit through travel, live music, yoga, and time with my puppies, friends, and family.
